More than 130,000 Z service station customers tried their luck by texting around 2 million entries in to the ‘Fish for Prizes’ competition.
Modica partnered with digital and marketing agencies Heyday and JWT to deliver a nationwide mobile campaign for retail that was both creative and simple. Customers who purchased $20 worth of petrol got a fishing permit with a code they could text in to win.
Modica managed mobile entries, web integration and compliance with the law, New Zealand Telecommunications Forum guidelines and mobile carrier texting rules. With entry numbers like that, it looks like customers were hooked.
